Our Fabrics

We use Italian Carvico VITA (ECONYL®) nylon, a blend of 78% Recycled Polyamide / 22% Elastane.

This regenerated nylon yarn is derived from pre and post industrial waste such as discarded fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet use, industrial plastic, carpet fluff.

We also use REPREVE® a 100% recycled polyester fabric made from recycled plastic bottles.

REPREVE® helps conserve water and energy compared to virgin polyester production.

Our Packaging

At Rewild, our commitment to sustainability goes beyond just designing beautiful swimwear inspired by the UK coastline. We understand the importance of preserving our natural environment, which is why we've taken extra care in crafting our packaging to be as eco-friendly as possible. Every piece of swimwear you receive is thoughtfully packaged in materials that are 100% recyclable. From our mailers to our tags, we've chosen packaging options that align with our dedication to reducing our ecological footprint.

Our Manufacturing

At Rewild, we’re all about making high-quality swimwear in a way that’s fair for both people and the planet. Our pieces are crafted in London and China, and we know that when people hear "made in China," it can sometimes raise eyebrows.

But here’s the truth—China is home to some of the most skilled and sustainable swimwear manufacturers in the world, and we’ve made sure to partner with the best.

So, why do we choose to produce there?

🌊 Expert Craftsmanship – China has a long history of making top-quality swimwear. The factories we work with specialise in the techniques needed to create durable, high-performance, and beautifully made pieces that hold up season after season.

🌱 Ethical & Responsible Factories – We only work with manufacturers that meet strict ethical standards. That means fair wages, safe working conditions, and a commitment to sustainability. Many of them are SEDEX, WRAP, or OEKO-TEX certified, ensuring full transparency.

♻️ Sustainable Innovation – Our Chinese partners have access to cutting-edge technology for eco-friendly fabrics like REPREVE®, allowing us to turn plastic waste into high-performance swimwear while keeping our environmental impact low.

✈️ Lower Carbon Footprint – While we also produce in London, sourcing and manufacturing materials in China helps us reduce unnecessary transportation emissions. It’s about finding the right balance between sustainability, quality, and ethical production.
